Arkanoid is very similar to the classic arcade game Breakout that was released by Atari in the mid 70s. In this online version of Arkanoid, you must use the mouse to control the paddle to bounce the ball into a wall of blocks. The object of the game is to break all of the blocks and proceed to the next level. The ball striking a block will cause the block to disappear from the play screen. Once all of the blocks have been destroyed, you will advance to the next level, where a new screen of blocks will appear. Arkanoid was initially released in 1986 by Taito.
